1. Thermally Stable Blank
PCD die blanks are Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) products produced by advanced high temperature and ultra-high pressure in the presence of a solvent/catalyst metal. High degree of diamond-to-diamond assure them combine the hardness, abrasion resistance and high thermal conductivity of natural diamond with a toughness approaching that of tungsten carbide. They are better choice for high precision and long life wire drawing dies.

Thermally stable PCD blanks include no metal cobalt, which may thaw in 650ºC . In this case, binderless blanks can bear high temperature in wire drawing process. This blank is suitable for hard wires and high drawing speed wires.
